Specific Prayer

Dear heavenly Father,
I ask You, Father, to confuse our enemies in the
name of Jesus. Grant us Your wisdom—not the
wisdom of this world, but that which comes only
from You. Bring to shame and confusion those
that devise our hurt. Father, You have spoken to
many. You have spoken to kings and can speak
to anyone, according to Your will. Cause the
enemy to be turned back. Foil their plans and
strategies. Make seeing eyes blind. You know
their plans and there is nothing that is hid from
You. Let them fall into their own nets and traps.
I thank You for Your manifest glory and I praise
Your holy name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Let those be put to shame and brought to
dishonor Who seek after my life; let those
be turned back and brought to confusion
who plot my hurt. (Psalm 35:4)
God Speaks to People

Now there was a famine in the land, and
Abram went down to Egypt to dwell there,
for the famine was severe in the land. And
it came to pass, when he was close to
entering Egypt, that he said to Sarai his
wife, “Indeed I know that you are a
woman of beautiful countenance.
Therefore it will happen, when the
Egyptians see you, that they will say, ‘This
is his wife’; and they will kill me, but they
will let you live. Please say you are my sister,
that it may be well with me for your
sake, and that I may live because of you.”
(Genesis 12:10-13)

Another time:

  • And Abraham journeyed from there to the
South, and dwelt between Kadesh and
Shur, and stayed in Gerar. Now Abraham
said of Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.”
And Abimelech king of Gerar sent and
took Sarah. But God came to Abimelech in
a dream by night, and said to him, “Indeed
you are a dead man because of the woman
whom you have taken, for she is a man’s
wife.” But Abimelech had not come near
her; and he said, “Lord, will You slay a
righteous nation also? Did he not say to
me, ‘She is my sister’? And she, even she
herself said, ‘He is my brother.’ In the
integrity of my heart and innocence of my
hands I have done this.” And God said to
him in a dream, “Yes, I know that you did
this in the integrity of your heart. For I
also withheld you from sinning against
Me; therefore I did not let you touch her.
Now therefore, restore the man’s wife; for
he is a prophet, and he will pray for you
and you shall live. But if you do not
restore her, know that you shall surely
die, you and all who are yours. (Genesis 20:1-7)
  • In my distress I called upon the Lord, and
cried out to my God; He heard my voice
from His temple, and my cry came before
Him, even to His ears. Then the earth
shook and trembled; the foundations of
the hills also quaked and were shaken,
because He was angry. Smoke went up
from His nostrils, and devouring fire from
His mouth; coals were kindled by it. He
bowed the heavens also, and came down
with darkness under His feet. And He
rode upon a cherub, and flew; He flew
upon the wings of the wind. He made
darkness His secret place; His canopy
around Him was dark waters and thick
clouds of the skies. From the brightness
before Him, His thick clouds passed with
hailstones and coals of fire. The Lord
thundered from heaven, and the Most
High uttered His voice, hailstones and
coals of fire. He sent out His arrows and
scattered the foe, lightnings in abundance,
    and He vanquished them.
    (Psalm 18:6-4)
  • But if you go, be gone! Be strong in battle!
Even so, God shall make you fall before
the enemy; for God has power to help
and to overthrow. (2 Chronicles 25:8)
