Dear God,
Please comfort the hearts of my friend’s family.
Hold them up above their pain and in Your
heavenly peace. My heart is also broken. Send
Your Holy Spirit to comfort. Thank You for being
with each one who is near to death. Please grant
us the grace to remember that death is merely a
temporary separation. We shall all be together
for eternity with You, through salvation in Jesus
Christ. Grant us the mercy and grace to go on
and to live in Your grace. I ask all of these things
in Jesus’ name. Grant Your special grace and
preparation for all those who are appointed to
die. I am thankful for Your compassion and
kindness. I thank You for what You are doing, in
Jesus’ name. Amen.

of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will
sing praises to the Lord. (Psalm 27:5, 6) - So he answered, “Do not fear, for those
