Comfort in Suffering

Dear Lord God,
Hold me up above these circumstances, Lord. I ask
You to hide me under the shadow of Your wings
and in Your high tower. You are El Shaddai, the
All-sufficient One. Father, Your Word tells those
who suffer to commit themselves and their souls to
You. Even Jesus from the cross committed His spirit
into Your hands. I right now place my spirit, soul,
mind, and body into Your hands. You alone are
God. You alone can heal me. You are the resurrection
and the Life. If any man believe in You, Jesus,
though He were dead yet shall he live…and any
man that lives and believes in You shall never die.
I trust You to be my healer, comforter, and
strength, and ask for it in Jesus’ name. Thank You
for what You are going to do.

  • I will give peace in the land, and you
shall lie down, and none will make you
afraid; I will rid the land of evil beasts,
and the sword will not go through your
    land. (Leviticus 26:6)
  • The Lord will give strength to His people;
the Lord will bless His people with peace.
    (Psalm 29:11)
  • Great peace have those who love Your
law, and nothing causes them to stumble.
    (Psalm 119:165)
  • Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust
and not be afraid; for Yah, the Lord, is
my strength and song; He also has
    become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2)
  • He gives power to the weak, and to those
who have no might He increases
strength. Even the youths shall faint and
be weary, and the young men shall
utterly fall, but those who wait on the
Lord shall renew their strength; they shall
mount up with wings like eagles, they
shall run and not be weary, they shall
walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:29-31)
  • And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient
for you, for My strength is made
    perfect in weakness.” Therefore most
gladly I will rather boast in my
infirmities, that the power of Christ may
rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9).
  • Be of good courage, and He shall
strengthen your heart, all you who hope
    in the Lord. (Psalm 31:24)
  • O God, You are more awesome than Your
holy places. The God of Israel is He who
gives strength and power to His people.
    Blessed be God! (Psalm 68:35)
  • Strengthen the weak hands, and make
firm the feeble knees. Say to those who
are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not
fear! Behold, your God will come with
    vengeance, With the recompense of God;
He will come and save you.” (Isaiah 35:3, 4)
  • But the Lord will be a shelter for His
people, and the strength of the children
    of Israel. (Joel 3:16)
  • For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
but of power and of love and of a sound
    mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
